Our Search to find a Furry Page Mascot
Everyone has a favorite breed of dog; most even have a favorite specific dog. Wether it is because of a specific dog or it’s the breed you love, we decided to let people vote and share what their favorite furry (or not so furry) breeds are. The most popular breed will be a page mascot for the year– though it’s clear that all dogs are our mascots on Ruffing it!
Updated bracket:
Our first vote was a tough one, but lots of people participated! The votes came in for two days. With Lab vs. Boxer, the result was– Lab!
Although many knew their preferred overall breed right away, some had a tough time choosing. Wilfred T. Bouffard said he owns a mix. I am sure he was torn when considering his vote.
Shannon Dannel also commented on the post about her fond memories of her boxer who just passed away, but also noted that she has four beloved labs in the family.
The most common response was along the lines of — I love all dogs I don’t even care which breed it is. You could say that is the mark of a serious dog lover.
Voting can be tricky, but hopefully anyone who contributes a vote can have fun with promoting their favorite, while remembering what they love about pets.
Feel free to participate in the voting by liking our Facebook page called Ruffing it, and watching for voting posts. So far on the bracket however, Lab, Corgi and Basset Hound will be going to the second round of votes.
Also, be sure to check back on this page, for the updated bracket and progress.
